Matt has had a couple of working role changes in 2024. Firstly, he has been promoted to Professor of Ecology and Evolution, and associated with that elevation is a switch in role to become Associate Head of School for the Burwood campus of Deakin University (the school is split across three main locations, with each campus having it’s own associate head of school). It’s going to be interesting being a bit more managerial. I will take Brian Clough as my role model I think.
