In early December 2018, it was an enormous pleasure to see Tamara Johnson, my first PhD student, graduate into doctorhoodness. It’s been a long road, but her perseverance, and the high quality thesis she produced, was a lesson to me as a supervisor. So great to be able to be there in the staff procession and get a good view of her graduation.
