Good news, in that former honours student, Dan Campbell-Tennant has had his honours research accepted for publication in Journal of Biogeography. Dan showed that Australian parrots beaks vary in size according to climate (generally bigger in hot climates), and that 4 out of 5 species he examined have increased their beak sizes over the past century. Could it be another effect of global warming? You decide. This paper is a great outcome. Well done Dan!
